Effective warranty management is an important and vital process to a fleet of any size and for almost any type of asset or unit. In most fleet management environments, without a platform or process to control warranties, savings or cost containment could easily go unrealized.

Keeping track of parts is, let’s just say, a process. Parts come in, parts go out, parts aren’t in the right place, part numbers are wrong. Parts are just plain gone. You know the drill.

If you’re reading this, the answer is more than likely “Yes.”

Managing and maintaining a small fleet is like herding cats. With a dog. You have so many issues to deal with. Not the least of which is juggling service needs while keeping customers on schedule.

You have a standing fleet maintenance operation, fully equipped and fully staffed.

You have a major investment in that operation and it costs you money to run it.

So, let me ask you this:

When there’s a slowdown, do you lay off trained techs to reduce overhead?

Or, do you bring in for-hire business to increase profits?
